I started Emery Law Office in 2017, but my journey here began many years prior. I knew I wanted to be a lawyer because I felt a calling to help others. Through firsthand experience, I saw how you can make your life better by trying to make life easier for others.

While many people attend law school fresh out of their undergraduate studies, without having to worry about a family or kids, my journey was anything but typical. I was a mother of four who commuted through two states every weekend to attend classes. I was determined to create a better life for myself and my family. I completed law school in just over two years, finishing in the top 10% of my class. In 2006, I became officially licensed to practice law in both Kentucky and Indiana.

My first few years as an attorney came with additional challenges and responsibilities. I was a single parent, trying to balance my children’s needs with a new career and the needs of my clients. It was difficult at times, but I persevered, knowing that my clients needed my help. I saw how disruptive an injury or lack of transportation can be to a family’s routine and knew the repercussions from a car accident can linger for months. I quickly realized I wanted to work exclusively with those injured in accidents. I wanted to provide the same level of support and encouragement I received throughout my education and career to my clients as they navigated their own unique challenges.

Today, our office serves victims of all types of auto accidents, ranging from bicycle collisions to those involving trucks, cars, and motorcycles. Every client who comes into our office is unique, undergoing a journey all their own, full of specific needs and challenges. We make sure to treat you as such. No two cases are the same, and even similar cases can lead to different outcomes. When you work with us, you can rest assured that we will give you and your case the attention you deserve. You’re never just a case number or client to us; you’re a member of our family. We don’t seek revenge or try to make flashy statements. We just want to help you secure the money you deserve and need to recover from your injuries.

Assisting clients remains my biggest passion in life, but I still make time for fun and relaxation whenever I get some downtime. I enjoy nothing more than spending quality time with my family. It doesn’t matter whether I’m offering support to my grown kids as they navigate the next stage of their lives or cuddling up with my grandchildren; you’ll likely see a big smile on my face! I also enjoy reading, connecting with new people, and going for walks with my dog, Bella.

I take great pride in helping people and only hire the best because I know that’s what our clients deserve. I hope to help as many people as possible for as long as I can.
