Does no-fault insurance pay medical bills and lost wages first?

Does no-fault insurance pay medical bills and lost wages first?

Kentucky’s no-fault system provides personal injury protection (PIP) benefits (also called Basic Reparation Benefits) that may pay certain medical bills and lost income regardless of who caused the crash, subject to your policy and state law limits. Other coverage, such as the at-fault driver’s liability policy or your own underinsured motorist coverage, may apply to losses PIP does not cover.
