What should you do when someone loses a limb?
Call 911 and focus on emergency medical care first. Once the person is stable, keep the police or incident report number, photos of the scene, and the names of witnesses and the other driver or property owner. Avoid giving a recorded statement to the other side’s insurance company until you’ve talked with a lawyer.
