Man Killed in Single-Vehicle Crash on I-64 Ramp in Louisville

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Sept. 14, 2026) — A man was killed in a single-vehicle crash early Tuesday morning on the ramp from Story Avenue to I-64 West in Louisville.

Louisville Metro Police Department officers responded around 3:30 a.m. to the crash involving a pickup truck. Investigators said the driver was entering I-64 West when he lost control for an unknown reason and struck a guardrail.

EMS and Louisville Fire Department crews responded to the scene, where the driver was pronounced dead.
