Can I pursue compensation if I am partly at fault for the crash?
Kentucky follows pure comparative fault, so you may still pursue compensation even if you share some blame for the crash. A judge or jury assigns each party a percentage of fault, and your compensation is reduced by your share. For example, if you were found 20% at fault, the amount would be reduced by 20%. Separately, your own PIP benefits generally help pay certain medical bills and lost income regardless of fault.
